One of the most respected transformative healers in South Florida since 1986.

Susan Schoen
LMT, NMT

What started as a deep curiosity in the inner workings of the human form, Susan Schoen has turned her lifelong passion for helping others into a career of over 35+ years. Born and raised in New Orleans, Susan knew at an early age that her calling was to help others live their best lives. She’s always had a knack for being able to see what was structurally off in someone’s body architecture and how to intuitively address the issues at hand. After graduating from the American School of Massage in 1986, Susan discovered her second passion – education. She continued her dedication to understanding the mechanics of the body by studying the Paul St. John Method and graduating in 1987 with a deep understanding of neuromuscular therapy. From there, Susan opened her practice, Vital Touch Therapeutics in 1988 in downtown Fort Lauderdale, and has been committed to helping the community ever since.

As the therapeutics world continued to evolve, so did Susan. With a drive to continue to find new ways to address structural dysfunctions, she went to Colorado in 1997 to study and graduate from The Guild of Structural Integration, developed by Ida Rolf’s original four students. She continues to learn, grow, and hone her skills and be at the top of her game, even today.

Susan is a one-of-a-kind intuitive healer who is hyper specialized in what she does. Taking the best parts of all her certifications, Susan is a true believer in integrative body work. She is a results-driven body transformation specialist. Someone who can look at your structure and adapt to its needs. Her knowledge in what creates pain or limitations in movement, how balance and function are affected, and the importance of the role fascia and connective tissue play in the ease of movement in the body have led Susan to be one of the most revered transformative healers in South Florida.
